Butler House has established itself as a leading venue for bespoke wedding ceremonies in Kilkenny. Whether you are interested in simply hosting your ceremony here, or having some Prosecco and Canapés on arrival or after your ceremony, we have something to suit everyone.

We can tailor our weddings to suit you, whether you have 5 or 50 guests. We have created truly unique weddings in the past, including barefoot humanist wedding ceremonies on the lawn, ceremonies for as few as four guests, and larger ceremonies for 60 guests. 

With plasterwork ceilings and large bow windows overlooking our Georgian Walled Garden and Kilkenny Castle, our Osery room is a truly unique space.

Our rooms are adorned with artwork from the prestigious Basil Goulding Collection, and the house itself is steeped in history as the former Dower House of Kilkenny Castle, located on the castle's original grounds. The house and garden are the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.
